Job Description

We are seeking a Marketing Associate to join McCarthy Lebit’s Marketing team. The Marketing Associate will report directly to the firm’s Director of Marketing and will play a key role in supporting the firm's marketing efforts and promoting the firm’s brand across various channels through traditional content marketing.

This is a full-time position, based in our firm’s downtown Cleveland, OH office.

Primary Responsibilities :

• Work with the Marketing Committee, as well as firm leadership, to propose, implement, and execute annual marketing and business development initiatives.
• Assist in the development and implementation of marketing strategies to promote the firm's services and enhance brand awareness.
• Pitch, curate, and schedule content for the firm’s content calendar.
• Monitor the firm’s website and social media engagement.
• Fulfill the Marketing Department’s responsibilities for the onboarding process of new hires.
• Aid in the submission of award recognition nominations and in announcing annual selections.
• Assist in planning and executing marketing related events as well as firm events.
• Collaborate with the Director of Marketing on all website and advertising projects.
• Utilize the Marketing Department’s print production resources to produce collateral materials.
• Manage the internal newsletter, from conceptualization to distribution.
• Email marketing campaign deployment, such as newsletters and legal advisories.
• Assist with the development and maintenance of the firm’s marketing database, mailing lists, and email distribution groups.
• Participate in Marketing Committee meetings, prep materials and take detailed meeting notes.
• Monitor competitive activities and stay current with legal industry trends.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or another related field.
• 0-4 years of related experience is required; or equivalent combination of education and professional work experience will suffice.
• Working knowledge of client relationship management software and Microsoft based office software (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) is required.
• Experience with digital media management software WordPress, Monday.com, Zoho, etc. and / or proven aptitude to embrace new technology and learn new software platforms.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, both oral and written.
• Proficient copywriting, proofreading, and editing ability to assist in translating complex topics into engaging content.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills, with ability to be detail-oriented and prioritize multiple tasks and projects with strict deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of content marketing, social media platforms, and Google Analytics is preferred.
• Creative and analytical mindset with an exceptional attitude to meet the needs of the Marketing Department.
• Ability to lift 30 pounds
